🌿 TANGAROA-MIHI – WELCOME BACK FRIEND

ya wouldnt believe the joy i felt in my belly when i saw a fresh report on trailforks of work done by the long lost Tangaroa-mihi trail adopter! One of my favorite folks, back at it, back out in their happy place: the native bush, looking after trails, in the company of their trail pup.

welcome back friend. the trail missed you. so did we 🐾🌿

šŸš€ CHALLENGE DH – TABLETOP MAGIC

woooweeee look at that eh, the Challenge DH trail adopter is doing their wonderful work, this time on the table top jump before the step up. Their aim: allow you to get better flow and more trail speed to hit the stepup jump after. Brilliant work, looks incredible, cant wait to hit it. love it!šŸ™Œ

✨ TE RURU – FRESH GOLD IN THE NATIVES

ohhhh that fresh gold dirt. the way it POPS against the native bush. the way it catches the light. the way you just know, before you've even ridden a metre of it, that someone who really knows what they're doing has been out there pouring love and skill into every inch of it.

that's the magic of a trail adopted by someone who rides as well as they build. they know just where to put the dirt so you flow through it the way they imagined you would. 🌟

🌲 THE FOREST AND ALL THE PEOPLE IN IT

and then there's everything else. the Rotorua MTB Club running their epic night ride series out there in the dark with lights bobbing through the trees. the Rinkly Riders out for their weekly rides and rallying for working bees. the invisible crew making fallen trees vanish. the Single Speed crew turning the cranks hard. the ultra runners doing their long training missions through the big loops. the after-work joggers sneaking in a quick lap through the redwoods before dinner. the walking groups, the school groups, the families, the solo wanderers who just needed an hour away from everything.

true speak: we don't even know how many different groups are out there in this forest. there are so many. and every single one of them belongs here. they are all welcome.

wherever you're from. wherever you're going. whatever pace you move through the world at – the forest is here. come in. find your version of it. make it part of your story šŸŒšŸŒ²

that's it.

no asking for donations, you already do, buy yourself a treat instead

no volly dig days, just go enjoy the fruits of your labor

no lectures on respecting the land owners, show it in your actions

no preaching about not being toxic and spreading bad vibes. haters gunna hate. lets not send em our energy. nope. none of that this week. just love.

Love for the forest.

Love for each other.

Love for life.

thats it eh. go spread that vibe. go spread some love out there this weekend.

aroha nui,
