🚨 Trail Closure Update 🚨 - DH TRAILS

Kia ora koutou Rotorua riders — an important update about the Downhill (Taniwha DH) trail in Whakarewarewa Forest.

We know many of you were stoked when the DH reopened last week — but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. Over the past few days, a fresh wave of trees has come down across the trail. For safety reasons, we’ve had to close it again.

With more strong winds forecast this week, it’s not safe to send our chainsaw crew in just yet. We’ll wait for conditions to settle before getting in there to clear the trail properly.

We get that it’s frustrating — especially after just having the trail back — but rider and crew safety always comes first. As soon as the weather eases and the trail is cleared, we’ll let you know.

Thanks heaps for your patience and understanding. This community is awesome, and we can’t wait to see you back out there when it’s safe.
