Mowing Operations in the forest 18&19 August 2025

Kia ora koutou,

Timberlands are commencing a roadside mowing programme starting Monday 18^th August 2025. This operation will be approximately 3-4 weeks in duration.

The mower will have 2 pilot vehicles, front and back. Affected recreational trails will be closed briefly by the front pilot and re-opened by the rear pilot once the mower is clear of the area. Timberlands requests that forest users please use caution around the operation, obey all signage, instructions, and restrictions – they are there for your safety.
