👋 Trail Adopters are legends!! We've got some fresh faces joining the whānau - welcome to the new adopters for New Exit and Tarawera Returns! So cool spending time with you out on the trails, showing you the ropes with trail maintenance and surface repairs. You're already making these trails sing! 🎵

🚴‍♀️ Folks, def go give these trails a ride, especially New Exit, and if you spot the adopters out there doing their mahi, chuck them a massive thank you - it means the world to them. Chur! 💚

🛠️ The takeoffs to some of the jumps have had a proper tickle up. Noice one, out there every week keep this trail special, thanks for your mahi buddy! 🔥

New Exit

💖 Soooo much love from the new trail adopter! This legend is super passionate and talented, already transformed some key areas of New Exit. It's such a popular trail with epic potential, just needed someone with the passion to give it the love to continue the great work of the previous adopter. Stoked to have you on board! 🎉

Dragons Tail

🤷‍♂️ I don't know what happened, I used to ride this trail all the time. Went for a lap last weekend after the adopter had done some work, and OMG I remember why I love this trail!!! Sooo fast, sooo fun, just an absolute ripper bit of track! If you haven't sessioned it in a while, go give it a lap - seriously good fun! 🤙

I went and checked you out after the Rollercoaster trail dig,

You coped so well with all that rain,

So I cleared the very full up drain(s),

And of course jettisoned detritus and the odd pine cone,

On Pig, you'll never be alone!"

💨 Got a blow and some drains dug out. Quite a bit of work still to do here, but gotta wait for the soil to dry out a bit more eh. Patience is a virtue! 🌱

When: Saturday 9th August 2025

Where: All over the forest

"Run The Forest is the only reason you need to get up and get going this winter. Three distances, run party vibes, and Rotorua's unique geothermal and Redwood trails. Get the crew together and sign up for the coolest thing you'll do this winter." 🏔️

👀 Look out for runners on walking tracks, roads, and shared use trails like Pig. Give them heaps of room and cheer them on! If you have to wait a minute for a gap, it's all good - eat a snickers and soak up the good vibes! ✨
