🐖 Pig Track

Let’s start this off with the highlight of trail reports, a poem for the Pig Track adopter!

“‘twas a wet and chilly afternoon,

Yet Pig was looking good and running mean,

We scoped out some future drains,

For soon there will be more heavy rains,

We cleared any debris so come ride it soon,

If for a lovely little climb you are keen.”

🌋 Te Mounga

To keep as much fun stuff open and running the entrance to Te Mounga has been opened up just off Tawa Road, so you can do laps all the way down Tihi o Tawa, carefully cross the road (look out for vehicles 24/7!) and drop down into Te Mounga. It’s a big long 3km Grade 4 run through lots on natives, open pine, tech grade 4 trails. Lovely. 🌲🪵🔥

⛰️ Mini DH

The fantastic trail adopter has been out and tickled up a kicky little jump. Should be super fun again now thanks to their efforts, legend. 🛠️🙌

🐗 Te Poaka

Had a good blown, running pretty mint right now! 🍃

Huge thanks for the reports of the rain ruts all down the trail. Really helps RTT prioritise where to send out the trail crew. 🕳️☔🛠️

🪨 Quarry Track

This has become my fav after work trail to go for a quick walk, especially now that it has a a blow so it is less slippy with leaves. 🍂🚶‍♂️🌿

🌀 Tūkonohi

Again, thank you so much for the reports of an issue on the trail, allowed us to send the trail crew over to tickle it up. Tūkonohi is good to ride again! 🛠️🚵‍♀️💪

🧠 No Brains

The Brains Trust was back at it again last Sunday, working hard to keep the trail running primo. Epic effort by all these awesome peeps, out there every Sunday doing the Mahi! 💥💯🛠️
