Shoutout to Mark Upshall

A huge shoutout to Mark Upshall, our incredible Operations Manager here at Rotorua Trails Trust!

Mark sits in a truly essential role, keeping our trails running smoothly, our projects on track, and our team motivated. We think he does a fantastic job, and we’re so grateful to the Grassroots Trust for helping fund part of his salary this year, your support makes a real difference!

Mark’s love for trails is clear in his impressive history. He joined Rob Metz and Dodzy in 2007 building Tuhoto Ariki, then helped bring G-Rock, Huckleberry Hound, Little Red Riding Huck, and Lower Corners to life for Southstar. Since then, he’s led the rebuild of Dipper in 2012 and helped develop Gunna Gotta, Titokorangi, Pondy DH, K2, Mokapuna, and more.

While he’s worked on countless trails, his personal favourites are Lower Corners and Dodzy’s.
