Logging Truck Routes Update

And now a word from our friends at Kaiangaroa Tipu (regarding Logging Truck routes)....

"Hi everyone,

The harvest crew logging at the top of Tawa Road have commenced loadout of logs from the associated skids. An update of trucking operations is below and, on the maps, attached. The operational site will continue with the traffic control team, who will adapt with the location of the harvesting activities.

Key information:

Operational Hours: 6:00am – 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Route: All logging trucks will use: 8-Mile Gate Road in @ Hill Road - Nice Road – Pipeline Road – Hill Road – Moerangi Road – Tawa Road, as marked on the attached map.

A one-way loop is still in place for Hill Road - Nice Road – Pipeline Road – Hill Road.

Kaingaroa Tipu kindly requests that all forest users exercise caution in the area, obey all posted signage and instructions, respect any restrictions, and comply with traffic control staff —they are there for your safety."
